What is the relationship between Oysters and Alcohol
Oysters pair well with everything from Guinness to Champagne. We find that the ever increasing quality of British, specifically Kentish wines both sparkling and still. The permeable chalk shelf that Kent is situated in is made from ancient marine creatures such as oysters so no wonder why they pair so well. We have collaborated various Kent vineyards and specialty wine rooms to create the perfect pairing events.
Oysters, which naturally filter vast quantites of water are imprinted with the individual characteristics of the water they are in, with oysters being significantly different depending on their location.
The subtle difference in the complex constitution of the water and the variety of salts dissolved enable oysters to have such a variety in flavour. This is incredibly similar to a more common example, Wine.
The vines on which the grapes grow are cultivated in a variety of soils in a variety of climates, all which influence the final flavours of the wine produced.
